There seems to be some inconsistency. Disney+ calls it Star Wars: Andor.

I confirm that this show is named "Star Wars: Andor" on Disney+.

It is, however, named Andor on IMDB

IMDB isn't an official site. The title is fixed by the original broadcaster.

Fair enough

Actually, it looks to me like it's called just Andor on Disney+ too https://disneyplusoriginals.disney.com/show/andor

That's why I said there's some inconsistency. When browsing the actual Disney+ app, it's called "Star Wars: Andor". See superboy97's screenshot above.

Yes, there is inconsistency. I think the title used on the website is what it's actually called, as JoeSSS originally said the Star Wars bit is just a logo. It's not called Star Wars: The Mandalorian, on Disney + or here

If you look in the details section of the actual Disney+ app, it says "Star Wars: Andor", so it's not just part of the logo.
You point out that The Mandalorian is just called "The Mandalorian" in the Disney+ app. That might be even more evidence that this should be called "Star Wars: Andor". After all, if Disney broke their convention to add "Star Wars:" to the title in Disney+, then maybe it really does belong in the title.
To be clear, I'm not advocating one option or the other, just pointing out that Disney seem to be calling it both ways.

The official title is the title on the page where you have the Play button, not on other advertisement pages.

Hmm, what a mess.

@superboy97 Who has decided that the title on the page with the play button is the official title? Not the title on the advertisement page?

They do write it as 'The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective ...' and '“The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the ...' on the advertisement page. I wonder if they just added "Star Wars" on the app so that it would come up in searches?

The title should be the title at the time of the first release. For a movie or a series first released on a streaming site, the release is the publication of the page with the "Play" button. This is only on this page that the release is effective.

Ok, I guess that is logical. Not sure it's the best policy but if it is one then fine. I'm a bit confused by this sentence "This is only on this page that the release is effective." What does that mean?

That means that its only on this page that you can directly officially play the video.
