I’m on Season 2 Episode 4 and I’m just so tired of the amount of crying these two women do. Enough already. The season so far has been pretty weak overall, they way they are rehashing everything and dragging it all out.
While I enjoyed S1, I feel like it's losing it's way. I am beginning to think they had no plan beyond S1...an all-too-common occurrence in series development these days. I have no proof of this, just the experience of watching the show, but the sliiiiiiiiide has begun. :-/
Somewhere in the first season because I thought it was going to be the run-of-the mill comedy, I initially stopped watching. Something, perhaps boredom, brought me back to it and boy I began to see so many strong themes, messages and brutally honest takes, especially since it so closely mirrors the real life experience of it's main star! Once you allow for the incredible plot twists common in series these days, I did find it entertaining and surprisingly fresh.
