Great Show if You Get Past the First Episode

Finished this a couple of days ago. But I almost gave up because of the last scene of the first episode. It seemed like such a cliche. Like a crazy bad cliche that signaled the writers were dumb AF or thought the audience was dumb AF. But for some reason I stuck it out and by the middle of the 3rd episode its explained why it wasn't a cliche at all.
So if the end of episode 1 annoys the hell out of you, just know its not as stupid as it seems.

Took me several weeks to get through the first 4 episodes. Then I binged the rest last night, looking forward to where it'll go in season 2.
