"Last night at the hospital I heard you call Yolanda by her real name."

"That is a common superhero rookie mistake."

"Look, this is all top secret. You can't tell anybody. Nobody at school, not your parents. Do you want them to die? Because that's how you'll get your parents killed."

"Secret Identities are superhero 101. They keep the people you love safe."

In episode seven Pat made the same rookie mistake, when he shouted "Courtney!" in the gym.

Shiv was there and had almost succeeded in killing Stargirl, but was thwarted by the janitor (a.k.a. Shining Knight).

She guessed Stargirl's secret identity and she is going after her to finish the fight in episode eight. However, first she is going to kill Courtney's friends.

Courtney decides to stop her and - as Stargirl - she goes after Cindy.

Still recovering from her injuries, she is once more easily defeated, lying on the ground, struggling against Cindy. Henry is there too, looking bewildered at the two women fighting. Suddenly, his mental powers manifest themselves, and he hits Cindy with a psychic wave, blasting her away. However, Cindy is not deterred and she quickly gets up, moving towards Stargirl. Then, out of nowhere, two minions of Dragon King grab her and they disappear into a manhole.

Stargirl sees Henry and she realizes that he can read her mind. He now knows that she is 'Courtney'. Confused, he runs away.

"Henry. Oh my God. He is a telepath, like his dad, Brainwave."

Dragon King has seen all.

"My daughter was wrong. He does have his father's powers."

Side notes:

It seems very difficult for anyone to keep their real identity secret.

Pretty soon Courtney's mother will know.

Who else? Perhaps it is easier and faster to just announce it on internet; Beth could use her goggles for twitter.
