I wonder why they didn't have RaeVen Kelly back to play Geena?

I mostly remember her playing a young Tina Turner in 'What's Love Got to Do With It' and on 'Living Single,' and then playing Geena on 'Roseanne.'

I'm curious if they will have the actress who played Geena back on 'The Conners' this season because I noticed she's on another sitcom this Fall called 'The Unicorn.' Either they will replace her and say she is back in Iraq again.
