Abd El-Hameed has mixed feelings of happiness and worry when his daughter gets a suitor. Events lead Abd El-Hameed to carry the financial cost of the marriage, while showing the issues arising from the differences between social classes as well as the problems of Egyptian families.

Season 2 of Father of the Bride premiered on December 30, 2018.

Continuing the events from the first season, Abd El-Hameed's daughter Zeina is excepting her first child. She decides to travel to the US with her husband to give birth and Abd El-Hameed finds out that he will lose his sight.

Season 3 of Father of the Bride premiered on January 29, 2022.
