This show even one ep when they showed the "writers" of the series and they were Vietnamese communists. This show does however have some good outright outtakes.
PS See my postings on how Ho of North Vietnam was a mass-murderer!

I thought the Vietnamese writer gag was hilarious. Micky breaks the 4th wall, walks off the set into the writers room to request a script change, revealing that the writers of the show are in some sort of Vietnamese sweat shop. The sarcasm on this show was way ahead of its time.

Bad, misguided compliment, Roo! In real life they were supporting efforts to destroy America's attempt to stop Ho Chi Minh from butchering South Vietnamese landlords much as he had killed by thousands North Vietnamese ones. The show is only great to those who innocently know nothing about America's disastrous counter-culture movement. When I was a lad watching it in 1976 Lawrence, Mass. it was funny---now I know it was a sick tragedy!
(See my postings and learn. I doubt you knew everything I wrote about Vietnam before you read my stuff.)
