Looks visually impressive. I doubt it will have any of the silly humour or charm of the original series but times move on and this is bound to be 'gritty' and 'serious' with tons of CGI (budget permitting).
Looks fine to me. I watched the old series as a kid, I am sure this series will keep the core elements of the original intact. I think they'll try to keep the comedic, family elements alive while exploring other dimensions of the situation of being "Lost in Space". Come on guys, a simple reproduction of the TV series will gain exactly zero new viewers. This way at least they have a chance and I, for one, am willing to give it that chance.
And yes, this is exactly the same argument for the revamped, refreshed presentation of Star Trek in Star Trek Discovery...something many fans decried and, thankfully, have been proven wrong!

The visuals reminds me of "Star Trek: Discovery". Though afterwards the characters and storyline there were a bit disappointing.
Let's hope this show's trailer does present a true picture of what we can expect.
