Urgh, that's my bad. If the mods don't change it, that's a lot of work to have to redo...
Edit: Looks like the seasons have been adjusted as needed, which is a relief. Also, re the links, no need to clarify further as it looks like we're ok to go ahead with year split.

I have just made the same changes we are working on here over on TVDB. It took me about an hour using their feature to move episodes to other seasons.
Hope they will appreciate the change.

It seems that we are now at a point where we need to fill in seasons that already contain episodes. What is the best way to avoid confusion between migrated episodes and those that should be deleted?
Perhaps we could remove the airing date of each episode that was moved to another season and will be deleted in the future. This could make things easier for the moderators. Also, I think other services like trakt don't import these episodes (I could be wrong).
Edit: We may need to change the episode numbers of the episodes to be deleted. To make it obvious, should we just use a number greater than 1000?

Have a look at what I’ve done for season 6: I’ve moved them to eps 100 onwards, so pretty much what you've suggested. You could remove the air dates but that’s a lot of extra work. I’ve just removed the ones in season 7 because it showed up on the series front page instead of seasons 11.
Oh, and with the wayback web archives, I’ve been able to download a lot more decent-quality ep images than what’s currently here. Looks like most of what is currently season 2 will have images now.
And nice work on TVDB. If only TMDB had a similar episode migration feature, it would make this change so much easier and quicker.

The progress looks good. I have begun migrating the TVDB/IMDB IDs to the new episodes.
Are there any remaining tasks after this, apart from asking the mods to delete all episodes over 100?

Everything has been transferred and updated (even better info on here than before). I've created a new report about the duplicates.
You can delete the ticket/report you created (I'm guessing you created a private report as I don't see it in the content issues list).
@terryy93 You can close this report as well. There's a button to do that on the left sidebar (other than mods, only the OP can do it).
