Poster Language

Still kinda new here as I migrated from TVDB, so please excuse my ignorance. There is a locked poster and the language is marked as Japanese, but appears to be English. Are language settings more of a suggestion?
Sometimes that can be ambiguous, but this one seems clear. Just trying to make sure I understand.

I removed it because the image was squished. But at a quick glanced it used the Japanese logo.
