Whitey's death treatment (despite the plodding predictability of the modern milieu surrounding it) was stunning and nearly perfectly executed (pun not originally intended). The camera work, twirling guns, then THUD! Just about perfect...I've never rooted so much for a beloved character to stay dead. Sad but true! We need more of this in film making.

I would have liked him to get involved in the gunfight a little before he died though.

Whitey's death kind of ruined it for me. I was hoping he'd end up with Louise since her dad was dead. I was also disappointed how the buffalo soldiers were taken down so easily. I thought they were bad asses.
Now you didn't want to hear about my worst scenes. My favorite was probably when the Indian woman went hunting with Roy and showed him up. That had me laughing. Also when Roy came up on the mine security guys with the stolen horses. I liked seeing Ed Logan getting what he deserved.
