10 minutes in and I'm scratching my head..

First of all, I love all the actors they've chosen. But was someone blind involved in the production?
All the descriptions they gave each other are way off. Dylan to lady cop - "you're a cop because you wear almost no make up". She wears a lot of makeup.. like foundation and the whole deal.
Whoopi Goldberg to Dylan - "you're fat". He's not. If anything, he's the opposite of fat, he is skinny. I have slight OCD, so it bothered me a little (a lot). Just why? I was waiting for Dylan to call Whoopi white next.

I was wondering why they didn't let Cumming use his natural accent. Yes I know he was an ex-CIA operative but that doesn't mean he couldn't have a Scottish accent. If him having a 'foreign' accent is a problem he could have been an ex-MI5/MI6 operative. Cumming seems to get so few chances to charm us with that accent.

I think an ex-MI6 whould have been even cooler. So many possibilities for 007 jokes..

Try as I might I just can't like this show. Cumming is wonderful but Novakovic's Detective Lizzie Needham is beyond annoying. I don't know if it is the way she is written or if it's just the actress but I can't stand her.

Just watched one episode and it contains every politically correct stereotype on the planet not to mention the most hackneyed plot that has been done to death. I don't think I will be watching a second episode.

"You're a better man than I am Gunga Din" !!! I don't know how I know that quote because I've never seen the film and I am not a man anyway !!! However - I only watched the pilot and AC's constant grin (Same reason I gave up on Lucifer) got on my nerves - that and having females in power roles that they would never get in real life only infuriated me more. It's such a fake message to send out. I am sick of super clever "consultants" saving the day. If you made it through three - good for you !!

Cummings was the reason I stuck it our for the 3 episodes. I really like him but she was really annoying.
I watched a couple of episodes of Lucifer, liked it somewhat but Ellis' nasal voice bugged me.
