I did the same. I turned it back for the last 15 or so and nothing really changed, it was still a big bore.

Yeah, it was a bit disappointing. Very slow. Its going to be the typical "who done it" that makes EVERYONE look guilty until the very end. I may just watch the last episode of the season.

I wanted to give the show a try for Kyra Sedgwick, but the show didn't look good from the trailer. Is Major Crimes still around? She could always go back to playing Brenda.

Is part of the negative reaction related to the many unattractive characteristics of Kyra's character? I found it was OK. I plan to watch more because I want her kid to be OK.

I watched last nights episode to give it another chance and it is still bad. There isn't ONE likeable character, well except for Lake (of course).

I guess I was one of the few who was really enjoying the show. And now it looks like it's been cancelled so I guess more people feel as all of you do. It's a shame, but oh well.
And yes, Major Crimes is still on. The new season started tonight, but unfortunately, it will be the final season (just found out last night). I'm losing a lot of shows apparently. sigh
