It was very rushed at the end. I think from the looks of it, Paula gave herself up and maybe Elen instinctively knew the baby was in the library. There was evidence to back Elen's story with regards to her innocence (sleeping drugs in her system from being force to take them, garage she was locked up in etc...) It was disappointing at the end, but I am glad she shut the door in her husband's face. It was so frustrating how he wasn't behind her and even invited Paula to their home knowing their history.

Not to mention that Ellen knew how to pop the airbag like, who doesn't know how to do that?! Very unrealistic. I really don't know how such a good tv show can have such a bad ending.
