Aelita is determined to discover if her father really is involved in XANA's miraculous and mysterious return. So she, Odd, Ulrich and William go to the Cortex, with Odd piloting the Megapod to help her; as Yumi chose to stay behind to set up a fundraising party in the gym, enlisting the aid of a shy boy named Remi. He tries to help but accidentally breaks the sound system. Meanwhile, in the heart of the Cortex, the walls start to go haywire and devirtualizes Odd and Ulrich, leaving William to save Aelita before he, too, is devirtualized. Back on Earth, they go to help Yumi with the boy, who has been possessed by XANA. In Sector Five, Aelita goes to the spot where she last saw her father, and asks if he has anything do with XANA being reborn and resurrected.

Aelita presse Jérémy de finir les modifications du véhicule qui lui permettra de retourner sur le Cortex. Elle doit en avoir le cœur net. Pourquoi y avait-il une image de son père dans ce Supercalculateur ? Malheureusement, plus ils approchent du Dôme, plus les soupçons assaillent Aelita qui se demande si son père est à l'origine de cette machine et qui a permis le retour de XANA. Elle devra chercher ailleurs la certitude que son père est innocent. Pendant ce temps, Yumi cherche à organiser une fête pour collecter des fonds pour le Japon, frappé par une tempête. Ce n'est pas facile quand on est seule, avec tous ses amis dans le Cortex, et XANA qui lance une attaque.

Aelita y Jeremy realizan las modificaciones que permitan al vehículo volver a Córtex. Deben llegar hasta el fondo. ¿Por qué había una foto de su padre en este superordenador? Por desgracia, cuanto más se acercan a la cúpula, las sospechas Aelita sobre su padre aumentan. ¿Y si fue él quien construyó esta máquina y permitió el regreso de Xana? Mientras tanto, Yumi intenta organizar una fiesta para recaudar fondos para Japón, golpeado por una tormenta. No es fácil cuando estás a solas con todos sus amigos en Córtex.
