Not only the best Superhero TV to date, but one of the best pieces of television I have seen or a long time.
A lot has been said about the cinematography, which is indeed great. I was reminded once or twice of a youtube video called "If Wes Anderson directed X-men". But aside from that(and more importantly) I was drawn in the characters and the story. The acting was superb all around. I particularly enjoyed Hamish Linklater who reminds me a lot of Martin Freeman(Sadly he is only in one episode). The patience and deftness with which we are drawn into the story is quite wonderful and refreshing. You may be in doubt as to whether this is only a superhero series in name, but those doubts are blown away at the finale of the pilot. And despite the sudden turn of pace, it somehow fits seemless in with the whole.
I was left desperate for the next episode at the end, which is a rare thing. I think I'll try to wait untill the end of the season to watch the whole series, this is definitely one worth binge watching.

It was a nice first episode though a bit confusing, but probably because I don't know anything about the comics.. but I found it curious and interesting enough to wait impatiently for the next episode.
I agree, the ending was so different from the rest of the episode, it's like all the colors were gone and it gave quite a different feeling too.. Also, I think they escaped too easily, but it might just be the way it was filmed...

I wasn't sure if the series was for me after watching the pilot but after thinking about it over the last few days I'm kind of curious how it will play out so ill be watching for awhile anyway.

I really like it as well. I do wish FX would fix their Roku app, it often freezes mid show! Anyone else have this issue? I had to finish the 2nd episode on my iPad.

You can watch it on Hulu. That's what I did.

I think only the first episode is on Hulu, to promote the show.

Nope. Both episodes are up. I haven't got around to watching the second episode yet but it's there.

Cool, good to know! I have Hulu with ads but they show a lot fewer than FX on demand does! Thanks

I agree with all it was certainly a roller coaster ride and reality perspective was dubious. I expect it will pan out in the end. Good program. BTW I watched it without ads as I got it from TV team.
