You will miss a little bit. The Punisher in Daredevil Season 2 is mostly in the first 6 episodes, after that the storyline shifts to Elektra and the hand. You should definitely watch the first 6 episodes at least.

You won't miss anything, the Frank Castle in this series is quite different to the one in Daredevil. The only thing you would miss is Karen's relationship with Frank, but she was hardly in this series anyway.

I only saw Daredevil's season 1. From what I've heard, Marvel and Netflix never reached that high again after that.

Daredevil Season 1 is the worst of the all of the Netflix seasons in my opinion. It put me to sleep, and a know a lot of people who share my opinion. It seems to have some kind of cult following online though. The season lacks charismatic characters, a compelling plot and has much too much exposition. It has some good production values I guess, but that does not make a good series. Iron Fist was way more sloppy, but it didn't put me to sleep like DD season 1.

I've noticed that a lot of the same people who like the first season of Daredevil also like Zack Snyder films. I think that tells you a lot.

The Punisher is on a whole different level though. Not only in terms of watchability, but in terms of quality. It makes Daredevil look pretty childish.

I'm hardly a fan of Zack Snyder films at all.... the only one I care for is 300.
