Deja's future

Even though Randall and Beth were not able to keep Deja and have her remain as a member of their family, I do believe that her time spent with both of them and the girls will turn out to be a life changing and path altered experience.
The young girl that first came to their home was not the same young girl that left.
Her time with them influenced her positively and profoundly and showed her another side of life she never imagined.
Randall's playfull "big house and fancy cars" analogy to working hard will be one of the many special things that Deja will remember in such a way that it will be a driving force in her life that will ultimately lead her to success and happiness.

Totally agree. When Deja arrived she was shut down, untrusting, unwilling to open up to others, more likely not knowing how to open up to others. She blossomed. You're right, a life-changing experience for her.
Looks like Randall and Beth will be looking to foster again (If I'm remembering the previews for when the show returns). Well, at least we won't have to wait long. Back in January.

I was relieved when both Randall and Beth independently decided not to fight for guardianship of Deja.
I believe that the mother is on the right track. Furthermore, Deja WILL NOT be cutting her any slack. If she so much as sense any bullshit from her mother...she'll set her straight. And, if needed, would reach out to Beth and Randall.
I agree. It's only a matter of time before they both connect with that cute little boy from Essex County. I can't wait to see how that unfolds.
