Randall's college plans (possible spoilers)

So, I wonder if Jack's death had an effect on Randall's college plans.
We saw him making out an application to Harvard. Although I can't remember it being mentioned, I would think that a superlative student like Randall could get a scholarship, maybe even a free ride, to an ivy league school. Has it been mentioned before where he actually went to college? (I love the thought of him going to Harvard :)

Did you see the "Number Three" episode that aired after your post?
Randall had his sight set on another school...

I did. I loved Jack and Randall's trek to check out the college and found it so interesting that the students he met there marveled at the racial makeup of the college and the fact that most of them had only previously gone to all-white schools.

Yes, their inexperience with being around a predominantly black school and being black themselves was interesting and funny.
I also loved how Jack was under the impression that Randall was feeling a bit uneasy due to his race only to find out that it was about his age. That was funny and creatively well written.
It's unfortunate how so many issues can get blown out of proportion as a result of an innocent misunderstanding or misinterpretation. Which is why we should always get clarification before jumping to conclusions. Life would be so much simpler.
