WTF!

Jack has a brother!? Wow, I did not see that coming.

I said the same thing! I'm wondering if dear old dad had something to do with his death and that's why he didn't go see him when he was dying.

I have zero clue about the brother. Except that they were both in the armed forces.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Tuesday was the first and only time that he's been shown/mentioned. I'm torn picking which part of the show I'm enjoying more. The past or present day.

I love it all! 💞💞💞💕💕💕💞💞💞

Do you think his wife know/knew about the brother? Is the brother alive or dead? 🤔🤔🤔

The Pearson children could have an uncle they know nothing about. What if he's alive?!

This show is getting stupid now.

He could be estranged, or perhaps he didn't make it back from Vietnam. In the flashback as kids, the little brother looked happy and normal; in the photo in Vietnam, he is still smiling and looking jovial. It makes me wonder what the dynamic was between him and his parents as opposed to Jack and them, you know? It would be great if he was still alive, but judging by the picture alone, I'd say he never made it back, and Jack , being there, saw it all go down, hence his PTSD/drinking. I also have to wonder if Rebecca even knows he had a brother. And did his father pass away, or did Jack end up going there....I ask this because they went from that episode right to Halloween. I was less than thrilled, but at least we now know how Rebecca and Miguel came to be, LOL!!!!!!

I think the necklace that Kevin wears is Jack's brother based on the comment he made when he gave it to him. So I think it's safe to assume that the brother never made it back from Vietnam. I wonder if maybe the reason that Rebecca doesn't know that Jack had a brother, has something to do with how he died. Maybe Jack felt that he caused it or he suffered from survivor's guilt.

And yes, Jack's father did pass away.

@autumnsquirrel:

Pump your brakes little squirrel. I think you're trying to move too fast through the storylines.

One thing about this show, is that they do a great job at bringing us full circle.

Just relax and enjoy the ride. 🛀

@LadyJEsq:

I can't begin to imagine Jack not telling Rebecca about having a brother. It would be so out of character for them as a couple.

In any case, I can't wait to get more information about that.

I agree it would be, but it would also be OOC for Rebecca not to mention that Jack had a brother to the children I think. I mean, there has to be a reason why we're just now learning of this younger brother.

I agree with you Lady. Especially knowing that Jack died.

I think it would be so helpful for the kids to know they have an uncle. It may be a way to cope with their dad's death in knowing that another Pearson is close by.

A relationship with the grandfather would help too. Then again it wouldn't because he died before Jack did.

I'm confusing the past with the present. My bad.
