I'm so happy that my heart isn't in a billion-billion pieces, and my soul hasn't been ripped out, and stomped on, but that soooooooo left me wanting more. It feels kinda like a let down, because all the interviews were all we're gonna break your hearts, but nothing happened.

I came here to write the same thing..The whole"Jack is going to die" was a set up. I am glad, but now I wish they would have made it a two hour finale so we could find out more about the Big Three going into next season.

This was the first episode I DIDN'T cry. Was a blah episode. It was nice seeing how they met.

It made me happy that I got spoiled in advance that Jack was not going to die in this episode. I thought it was okay, not necessarily as strong as others, but okay.

Maybe he dies in 9/11? This was a disappointment for sure. Rebecca should have taken him back--maybe she was out of love with him-but he loved her to the end ...of this episode, anyway :/

Count me in too. So disappointed. I mean it was nice to have the back story, I really enjoyed seeing how they met. And the twists surrounding it were very clever (like thinking they had set up a date together). Would have been fine as an earlier episode but not the finale.
HOWEVER, other people are better at this than I am. I remember reading that the first thing we would see is "a clue as to WHEN Jack dies". At the end, Randall is looking at a photo album, which seemed to have pictures of his wedding, his kids.... I need to watch it again on demand and pause it. Did anyone see anything in the photos that gave a clue whether Jack was there or not?? They do enjoy the easter egg thing, so I was wondering if I missed a clue.

I don't think so. This ep was 96/98 (car inspection sticker) and the kids in the cemetery are close to the age they are in this episode. definitely not 5/7 years older

The only clue we have is it's the daughter's fault, so I'm going with murder.
I am so ticked off right now with that episode. It wasn't even a cliffhanger, with us thinking, was that how Jack dies or something like that! Just left us with nothing. Hmm maybe his friend poisons him so he can marry his wife.

There's no murder!
Since that episode and the episodes that followed. It looks like there was a house fire.

The way it looks is that Kate had a candle going right next to a centerpiece on the coffee table. Rebecca did move it, but I don't recall her extinguishing it. Looks like maybe the neglected candle causes the conflagration while Jack is fixing the fuse. Could be the house catches fire while he's in there and unable to get out on his own. Or, he does get out, but maybe he suffers from smoke inhalation. I thought I was so over analyzing his untimely demise, but here I am, at it again, LOL!!!!!!
