I think she was. Most of the stuff that happened to her was either regular high school crap or stuff she brought on herself. For example, people become friends and then drift apart all the time as teenagers. I know because I am one. High school is one stupid drama after another. Also, the rape stuff that happened was either due to underage intoxication or sheer stupidity. Girls, I have news for you: Boys are ridiculously horny ALL THE TIME! If you want to avoid bad situations, don't get blasted at parties, especially if you tend to hang around a bunch of immature dudes who you don't trust. It's a recipe for disaster. So Hannah goes to a party, gets drunk and fails to come to the aid of a another drunk girl. She basically watcher her get raped. Then, as if that wasn't stupid enough, a few days later she walks to the rapist's house, strips to her bra and panties and hops into his hot tub!! OMG! He's a rapist, you dunderhead! So what happens? She gets raped of course. What a stupid girl. Then she goes to the school counselor and expects him to read her mind. She won't name the boy, she doesn't say she was raped. It's a mess! She is too young to drink. There are drinking laws for a reason. It's because teenagers are moronic as hell SOBER. Do they think they will get smarter when blasted on booze?!? Wow. I don't even know what the message of this show was. I was liking it for a while but it got so stupid and annoying by the end.

After watching the Dr. Ford testimony, it became even more clear how dangerous underage drinking can be. Kavanaugh shouldn't be a judge on any court. All the allegations indicate he has a hatred for women, drunk or sober. He knows he is guilty and he can lie about it and trivialize it all he wants. Dr. Ford was in the wrong place at the wrong time and for that, her whole life was altered. And for what? The thrill of drinking a beer with a bunch of privileged teenage alcoholics? Fortunately, she survived the experience but we never would have heard about it had Kavanaugh not been picked by our stupid, orange nightmare. And this never would have happened if the parents of all of those 1980s teens intervened when they saw the warning signs of underage alcohol abuse.

Hi everyone,
First of all, Kewl Kat, I'm sorry for the names I called you a couple of years ago, I feel that this was an extremely toxic series, although oddly compelling, and they keep making bizarre changes. However, you also needed to be careful about how you phrased your comments. As I did say, rape victims go through a lot of blaming, and while Hannah was definitely no saint, I don't think she should be blamed for that instance.

Keel Kat, Iām so glad the you were able to inform me that when I was raped that it was all my fault because I had had a drink. Even though I struggled, fought and shouted no all the way through.
Thanks for the affirmation.
