Extra Details: For some reason, the tvdb field in external IDs is locked, but there is no value set. I'm trying to link it to tvdb ID 7957.

That would be because TVDB doesn't have a TV entry for it. Adding a movie ID to the entry wouldn't work: https://www.thetvdb.com/dereferrer/series/7957
