It really is prime "we've investigated ourselves and found nothing wrong" when you reference your own rules that you created to justify your actions. The fact that you're doing an incorrect thing because it follows the rule shows that the rule that you created is flawed.

It cannot be the 26th episode of the second season

It also cannot be the 26th episode of the first season because such a thing does not exist. So you now have a choice. Would you rather have an incorrect entry for something that does not exist or one that's incongruous with the official site in an incredibly minor and specific way that everyone would understand? The correct answer is the latter.

Also, how are you able to delete season 2 here and add the episodes into season 1 when there's a myriad of other anime that need it too? Yeah sure move around episodes here out of nowhere when no one asked but One Piece? Yeah let's leave it for 3 years.

I mean this is nothing compared to https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/550148-the-body/discuss/5c2f76899251415a986de345 where a URL endpoint is used to classify a tv show as movies.... but what you mentioned is exactly the problem. the contribution bible was just introduced at some point, constructed by the moderators in private and making it the gospel (with no scrutiny). I've tried to get Travis involved in the aforementioned thread but I guess you'd have to be on twitter or something to reach him these days.

Are you not allowed to split into different seasons while maintaining each episode's absolute numbering? The studio keeps absolute numbering to make it easier to reference a specific episode , yet they still split the episodes into season to make it easier to organize. There should be an exception added under the Anime section for when a studio has clearly stated they have different seasons + absolute numbering. If you are not allowed to make this change, can you direct us toward someone who can? If we need to change the "Contribution Bible" then let's move toward that, who do we speak to for that? It really doesn't make any sense that the official website for the anime splits the episodes into different season, yet TMDB can not. TMDB is my go to place for metadata but for this anime I'm having to go elsewhere. Hopefully this can get fixed soon.

I agree, the rule should be at least : numbering matter but if we see any season patern on the official website, it has to be considered.

所以，拿着不知道哪里的鬼网页在那里胡扯，从可用性上来说明显也要分3季

是啊，前几天还在顺便整理了宇宙战舰大和号新版，还有交响诗篇，这里宇宙战舰大和号2199和2202放在一块，当第一第二季，而2205又单独拿出来作为一个新的项目，这要么放一块，要么全分开放，这么纠结的，还有交响诗篇也一样，甚至交响诗篇的第二季既有一个单独的项目，还在第一季后面跟了作为第二季。然后还有辉夜大小姐初吻不会结束也是，它有电影版，也有TV放送版，这是并行的，但是这就偏偏不编辑那四集TV，现在还在辉夜TV那下面搞着呢。 唉，______罪大滔天滔滔天，搞到百姓怨声载道。

最可气的是他们非要把分季条目编辑给锁上，不允许其他人来维护，而且一报告错误就说我们遵从的是社区规范，但是这个规范也从来没讨论过是否完全合理，出现 Bad Case 的时候还继续照着原来可能不完备的规范做，这真的合理吗。并且不止一个作品这样，咒术回战也是这样。

The default should be 2 seasons. We shouldn't have to go to an episode group for the correct listing.
