I love that they won't even open a poll to get the feedback from users of the website.

TMDB is used by so many tools to pull metadata, but since it's not affecting them, why listen?

Japan doesn't use our three numbering system for season/episode, so we must make it make sense in case that 1 user gets confused. *"I'm Helping" Ralphy meme enters the chat.

This show illustrates how poorly this GUIDELINE guides. Lets make it make sense and use what the website says and continue to include the Episode number in the show name? Does that make too much sense? yes. Perhaps that is why it won't get implemented???

You could also add the field to the shows as well... but mods have no control over that so they will just shut down conversation over this. The database has too many columns as it is and one more will get a stack overflow and everything will crash.

Yes, all we want is "logical arrangement," not rigid numerical ordering. We should separate different seasons based on logic and general public understanding. Moreover, this community relies on the collaborative efforts of many users, but now it seems like the moderators can act in a dictatorial manner, which doesn't seem beneficial for the community's development.

Oh I’ve season just as strange, but only here. They are notorious for lumping multiple seasons into 1. It took months of us sending them quotes by the owning website and even the producer/director to get the new Doctor Who series to be its own series. That one I didn’t like because it is just a continuation of the original, but I at least agreed with the franchise when they said it was a reboot of the story just like the 2000’s were.

The problem here is that TMDB’s own rules state they have to go off of what the owning website says, and they’re not. Smh

就因為官方使用連續編號 就通通把非SP全集數分到第一季 這到底是什麼規則!?!? 那分季功能是幹嘛的? 乾脆刪掉這功能算了! 還在那邊扯規則就是那樣訂的，到現在還是使用這無用規定， 要照規則可以，但你規則明明就有問題，官方、各大串流平台都有分季就這平台通通放到第一季， 要不然也不會有這麼多使用者來跟你抱怨這問題。

趕快去修改你們的"規則"、這明顯是不合理的!!!!

So you’re saying that One Piece is only 1 season as well? The series currently consists of 1122 Episodes, numbered continuously. Even the latest episodes are not numbered 1-xx they are still 1122

The official website uses continuous numbers for the episodes so, according to our anime guidelines, they belong in a single season.

P.S. I already noticed the season did not delete correctly and is still listed. I've reported internally and there's nothing else to do except wait until it's fixed. This has been fixed.

Yes. As indicated the content reports of that series, the current wrong seasons will be merged at a later date, not yet known, by the administrator.
