Discuss A Series of Unfortunate Events

It really got a little bit repetitive an annoying after the first 6 episodes - but that twist with the parents not being their parents really gave me goosebumps and put a new dark layer over the story. Wow. I didn´t saw that coming at all.

Well played.

And Episode 8 stayed great and the song at the end was really really atmospheric and melancholic. Hope they do this more often in the next season.

Now I´m excited for it.

I really enjoyed the series as a whole, but yeah it did start to get repetitive. I liked the twist about the parents, and now I'm curious who their parents are in that photo. I'm really looking forward to next season.

As a fan of the books I loved they added this new element to the story. As I knew many people would be turned off by the repetition, this was a very good choice. These are, IMO the worst books in the series, and the Miserable Mill the very worst, so I was pleasantly surprised how good it turned out. The song was good. I feel like as the series continued it got that sardonic humor down, while in the opening episodes it seemed less dark.
