The movie and the series have nothing in common.
The Movies Id and Series Id are totally independent and you could have a movie and a series with the same Id value. You can also have a person, a network or a production compaty with the same Id value. They are all independent objects without conflict.
By the way, next time you have something to report, create your own report (Overview -> Report) instead of hijacking an already solved content report about something else.
