Discuss The Twilight Zone

1) In the 'After-hours' the frozen Marcia White looks less like beauty ep-star Anne Francis and much more like OK-looking non-TZ actress June Lockhart. Look at the mannequin again online or on DVD!

2) In 'The Trade -Ins" the people whose bodies are on exhibit were one would think supposed to be frozen but they are way too obviously moving.

3) What was the case in 'The New Exhibit' with the long haired lady supposed to be badly suffocated? Was she played by an actual actress or just an actual mannequin? Did she (in the story) have a face under that pillow? Or a flat surface where her face would go? Or was she containing an enormous hole in her face area? Why did Martin Senescu not want to take her to his basement as well? There were actually 6 mannequins in the exhibit and Martin only takes five of them home. Since Martin's wife would have been doubtless even way more upset at the sight of suffocated female mannequin (thinking it could happen to her) than she was at just the sight of the five male mannequins I ask you-- did her husband actually let that female mannequin get disposed of for that very reason?

A few more points. Since the pillow-suffocated ladies were people with names was that mannequin supposed to be a specific lady victim? No! Martin does not motion to her (while he is showing people the exhibit in the ep opening) and mention her name. She is just supposed to be any pillow victim. Does the lady's long straight hair make her seem too modern. No! In a shark hunting painting (by, I think, John Singer Sargent) a lady is on the water with hair like that and in a similar pose. (The basis for the mannequin's pose?) Maggie Mahoney played Martin's wife and she seems to really be terrified of the mannequins. I have a feeling they stayed frozen in character between takes and they spooked the actress for genuine.
