Look, a story about a big movie star was certainly better than about a college professor. Kevin McCarthy is blander standing in front of a class reading from a diary to the students (why was the printing in that old diary shown? --was that supposed to somehow prove this man lived thousands of years?). Ann Blyth OTOH looks hot and fetching coming out of a swimming pool. McCarthy looks way, way, way too European to be a Middle Eastern type from pagan days. Blyth even looks more the right phenotype to have been the Greek-descended Egyptian queen.

PS Pity Dodie Heath, playing the McCarthy fiancee, did not have a better part.
