Earth is falling into the sun and everyone is coping with this in their own way.
Some stay and await their death, while others flee to the northern parts of the world.
Why not to the south, to Antartica? Too far for those living in the north?
The story is about two women, Norma and Mrs. Bronson, who decide to stay in their apartment in New York.
The temperature is slowly rising and they run out of water.
Will they survive?
There is a twist at the end, so maybe...

Yep, it turns out that Lois Nettleson character was having a nightmare and the Earth was actually colder, not hotter!
