The dinosaur in "The Odyssey of Flight 33" hands-down. It's a shame they had to show it because it mars what is otherwise a pretty solid piece of television. I imagine the dinos in "Jurassic Park" will look as bad, if not worse, circa 2053 or so.

The plane crash at the end of Twenty Two was pretty lame --- at least by today's standards. It looked like a small flame burning through some paper. I believe this was a videotape episode - perhaps harder to do special effects on that media back then?

Grinstead chasing his doppelganger in "Mirror Image."
But weren't the aliens suppose to look silly in "Dingle" as oppose to the dino in "Odyssey" or the plane crash at "Twenty Two" 's conclusion?

Hehe.. I don't know, but I LOVE that episode as it's full of interesting characters (and while not a big fan of Rickles, I loved him in this) as well as the silly aliens. If you can't have world class special effects, at least you can shoot for memorable I guess!!

Before or since there are never been aliens quite like the ones in "Mr. Dingle." As silly as they may be you are quite right: they left an impression. I wonder what H.R. Giger would have thought of them.
But the aliens dressed in togas in "People Are Alike All Over" do give them a run for their running.
And the slot machine chasing poor Franklin Gibbs around in his hotel room is something else as well.

Nothing was as cheesy as the three-eyed Venusian in “Will the Real Alien Please Stand Up?”

Which wouldn't have been nearly as bad if they just put an eyebrow over it!!

One of the Lousiest Makeup jobs I ever saw on Classic The Twilight Zone was at the end of the episode The Long Morrow. The old age makeup was supposed to make Robert Lansing look 70 years old, but it didn't.
