Now that's interesting. One of the raps actually taking our side and defecting. I'm guessing there's a good chance the last scene of the finale will be the reveal, when they arrive at the outside resistance HQ and we get our first glimpse of an unsuited rap. The question is, will they just abandon the LA bloc to its fate or try a last minute attack on the wall to create a gap the people can escape through? They've still got the ability to put a drone to sleep and stick something on it. This time, explosive devices instead of cameras. Otherwise the whole city is about to do the Neil Armstrong thing.

If indeed they're looking for those whose genetic characteristics make them ideal soldiers, that gives you some clue what the raps want them for. Humans that have lived in their own civilization with all these ideas about rights and freedoms can only be molded so much. But a generation of children born in military school type environments where they're taught loyalty and obedience from early on would make a perfect slave army. If the raps were facing an enemy with a huge numerical advantage this would be an ideal way for them to even the odds without massive casualties among their own kind (and we've seen how little human life matters to them).
