In the last episode we saw that those pods are indeed cryostasis chambers, probably intended for long term space flight. The Raps seem to be actively collecting the biggest and most problematic troublemakers to send ... somewhere very far away. People like Will Bowman and Eric Broussard. I wonder why that is? Why send the creme de la creme of resistors to a far distant world instead of the Factory, or just killing them? Another question to ponder.
