Halfway through the show there are three kids on bicycles who follow a van driven by the android 6km out of town and keep up with her the whole way. Sorry but I don't know any kids capable of getting that kind of speed on a bicycle, much less maintaining it for that distance.

The Android didn't want the kids to miss out on Something Strange out in the woods. (When they were spying on her, she kept looking directly at them!.) After that, they'd believe Anything and follow the crew Anywhere. ("You have your own life to live, here.") Talk about Expanding Minds to the mysteries of the universe.
