Tbh, in OP it was indeed a mistake, I wasn't thinking... or maybe because Susan is much easier to write than Sigorney. lol

But then I learned that all my internet credits are at stake so I "tried" to fix it a couple of times. And here we are

I've always known Sigourney is the taller one because I've seen her in all the Alien movies. In Aliens 4, she was nearly as tall as Ron Pearlman, and he's a very tall actor. Hence, I could tell which one is which. And actually, I've watched a lot of Sigourney's movies (not only aliens), so...

But if you wish to discuss the Defenders, then I would agree that Susan Sarandon could have easily played Alexandra, but I suppose they chose Sigourney Weaver given her strong sci-fi fan base after starring in sci-faves like Alien, Paul, Galaxy Quest.

If it makes you feel any better I thought the girl who played Jessica Jones was Eliza Dushku, but I was wrong.

There are quite a few actresses that totally look alike; Amy Adams, Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard for example. Now which one was in The Martian, which one in Jurassic World and which one is Lois Lane ?

I have to conclude that OP's inability to Google Weaver's credits and differentiate between her and Sarandon is a long-running joke about how similar the actresses are in appearance. Next reply will refer to Sarandon's role in Ghostbusters.

(IMO) Good:

1. First fight between Luke and Danny - having Luke roll his eyes was just so perfect, right up to the point where Danny busts out The Fist - good job guys
2. Daredevil, as usual, fricking awesome fight scenes, some good pathos with the Elektra stuff
3. They hardly used Karen (yay - she's so dull - IMO)
4. Danny's fighting has improved since his show, thank goodness.
5. Jessica got to be sassy and cynical, my favourite Jessica - it's gonna be some time before she becomes 'sunnier' but we still get to see she has a sense of humour ("Classy") Don't know if LC /JJ is gonna be endgame in the Netflix series - but it was interesting to see that he's still the only person (aside from Trish) who she really lets her guard down around
6. Colleen Wing being a bad-ass HELL YES - she was the best part of Iron Fist - glad they didn't forget that in this show
7. Stick being totally cut-throat - LOVES IT. Stick Gets S*** Done B*****s.
8. Electra - I know - some people have hated her in this. Not me. Loved her. So hard

Bad:

1. Sigourney/Alexandra: not at all threatening, despite hype. Super sad as I'm a big fan. Gao was way better, and not lead badguy.
2. - Black Sky - WHAT. That's IT? Go f*** yourselves Netflix. Are you telling me that if Stick hadn't shot the bald kid chained up in the shipping container in Daredevil it would've been just a fairly normal fight against an undead ninja-tween? Nope. Needed more drama. Give Black Sky literal fire power, acid breath, the power to turn invisible, the ability to raise skeletons - SOMETHING. Don't just make - we resurrected a ninja with memory issues. GAO had Sith Force-power - give Black Sky force-power or something AT LEAST.
3. - Iron Fist is The Key. Cliche. Hellboy did it better. also, could've scrapped most of his dialogue. Aside from some of the funny stuff. Shoulda played that up (the actor can't do drama for s***)
4. - Where'd all the Hand's ninjas go? What - you needed all of them to act as a moving crew for Immortal Dragon Bones (TM) and nothing else? At least use them as a distraction - the Hand has AN ARMY! Make them do something!
5. - I've said it in another post - but power inconsistencies have bothered me a bit. (JESSICA JONES AND ELECTRA NATCHIOS - I'm looking at you, ladies!!)
6. - Bummer of a soundtrack guys

Jessica Jones has always been super strong (at least enough to stop a moving car strong), she generally pulls her punches when fighting people or just throws them.

Which I know - but it seems like (in this series at least) she's been pulling punches when she really, really shouldn't have been.
