I'm part of the way through season 3, so I don't know all of what happens. I'm up to the point where Sharon discovers Rory's secret involvement with Laser.

Sharon allows Paudge's crime to go unreported in an earlier season. However, she won't do the same for Rory. The only reason I can think of is because Rory committed a murder? Because both Paudge and Rory were leaking information.
