Totally agree. Lucious had it coming and Taraji's acting was excellent. I'm glad she didn't fall for Lucious. That was a wild scene and I just felt what Cookie was going through. Her frustration with Lucious reached it's peak when he gave Anika that position. That's what I call "letting out steam". LOL!!!

This was a good episode even-though I just didn't find the fight scene between Nessa and Tiana funny. It wasn't unexpected though. The fight for power in Empire is heating up.

Overall a great episode.

OMG, TPH was phenomenal last night! I felt all her pain, and when she started kissing Lucious, I actually started screaming at my TV! I don't generally do this, and can't remember the last time that I have, but I was yelling, Noooooooooooooooo Cookie, Nooooooooooooooo Cookie, Don't open the Cookie jar for himmmmmmmmmmmm! It was crazy for about 2mins, then she came to her senses, thank goodness, and my neighbors were able to go back to bed.

That part was the best part of the episode. I knew that back and forth, tit for tat was fourplay for them. I enjoyed this scene a heck of a lot better than Anneka dressing up and breaking Lucious' stuff just to get that job. To me, it seemed like Anneka was just biting on something Cookie does and it clearly paled in comparison. From the previews, it looks like Nia Long is going to be the new rival for Cookie and I'm excited to see that, I never thought Anneka was on Cookie's level.
