Riley seems like an outlier

She doesn't have any particular skills or knowledge, she isn't really strong in character, she is mostly passive whenever the cluster gathers to solve some trouble. Is she supposed to have some hidden strength or add something less obvious to the cluster? Because compared to all the others she just seems weak.

Riley is a famous DJ, famous enough that she has several club and narcotics contacts around the world. Other than that she doesn't have much skill she can bestow on the group members, so I agree she's the weakest of the cluster. I found it disappointing that they gave the bartending skills to Lito. It would have fit Riley better and would have given her at least one semi-useful skill she could provide.

I haven't finished season 2 yet, but I assume nothing adds up to her character anyway. It seems like she is supposed to be somehow identical to Angelica though, so I guess she will play some sort of relevant part in the plot.

She is almost the glue that holds them together. Her compassion and strong heart is what they all need.
