David Tennant reprises his role as Emmet Carver, the lead detective in a small community working the case of a murdered boy found on the beach. Tennant had a strong Scottish accent in Broadchurch and uses an American or plain accent in Gracepoint. I like him in this role. Tennant does a great job in both productions and his character is the strongest and most likable (to me) character in the show.

This is a great murder mystery with several people who look like possible suspects at various points in the show.
