Hi, https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-episodes/pokemon-tv-seasons/season-21/ in this official page we can see 48 épisodes but there are marked as 48, because one of the 49 was banned in USA and the rest of the world after its release in Japan (top of the page : https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/SM064) Conclusion : season 21 has 49 episodes
