Is the cinematographer trying to win an award for "most detailed shots ever framed for a TV show?" I don't need 5 minutes of Jimmy sitting and moping on the couch. I get he's depressed but seriously.. without spoiling it, does the pace pick up at all?

No the previous season had off topic random stuff but this season so far is literally "why is it in there?" Like Jimmy looking at the newspaper for a minute. No cuts away. And the whole scene of Mike investigating how bad that store routine was... I mean it was like a full on 15 minute subplot that only told you what was happening during the last minute. The writers are losing it completely. People got so angry at the boring pacing of the finale of Game of Thrones yet this gets all praises? It doesn't make sense...

Do yourself a favor and watch Ozark on Netflix instead of putting up with this. Only 2 seasons so far and it's already one of the greatest drug shows ever.
