No, I mean, there NEVER was electromagnetism in a battery as Chuck had always claimed.

I don't think Jimmy was doing that at all. I think he just knew Chuck's "illness" was psychosomatic. Hiding a battery on him was a lot easier than parking an electrical machine next to Chuck in the court room.
