With the swimming pool opening and hearing the underwater background noise - very BB! And of course Don Eladio, we all know what happens in that setting (if same place?) the poison. Such a treat for BB fans, gets better and better. That was long time spent with Gus & Hector and the Pollo Hermanos drama (glad the customers & staff were safe, Nacho looked hot)
Also glad to see Jimmy with Mike - haven't seen them much together this season. The way he kept making the noise with the drilling machine to get rid of Chuck was funny - plus his don't give a fuck face. Only problem, episode felt so short - Bingo then fade to black, not enough!

I thought Hector was going to take a wiz in Eladio's pool, again.

Yeah, I thought ep 2, Witness, was the most BB-esque episode so far, just based on the overall screenplay and directing. But this one clearly was too. I still think they could intensify the scenes in this episode more to make them more parallel to BB though. For example- the restaurant scene, when Gus meets Hector, and even the Eladio scene could have been tougher and more gritty.
My favorite scene was Gus telling Mike why he didn't want him to kill Hector. That was a legitimately quotable line and imo the first one of the series up there at the BB level. I love Gus' dual sides. It makes him so creepy and scary. He's really one of the best characters ever created in TV or movie history.

He should have; I was surprised and wondering why Hector was so soft in this episode.
