Agree. They really fumbled this one, and it wasn't very hard to make good. Hopefully, season 3 will finally deliver. Thing that sucks is even if it does finally deliver, if you ever watch the series again, seasons 1 and 2 won't even be worth watching.

Look. Vnice has said it quickly became so much more than how he becomes saul. Firat of all this is Mikes breaking bad story. He starts this show as a retired cop working at a motorpool booth. And we know where all this characters end up so it kind of HAS to be the journey not the destination. I think they are doing a great job with these characters without retroactively ruining breaking bad. He WILL eventually become saul. Spoiler alert.
