3rd Season -- less Chuck please

I can't even remember what became of him by the end of season 2. I was getting a bit bored with his electricity allergy storyline and his emotional manipulation of Jimmy. I'm glad season 2 is on Netflix now....but I think I'll FF thru the Chuck scenes.

Hmm, he had an attack at the photocopy machine but he didn't die lol. Of course I'm rooting for Jimmy so yeah - Chuck's annoying! He recorded Jimmy saying he did mess with the documents.

I'm watching on netflix so I don't get S3 yet but it seemed that in the last episode of S2 Chuck saw one move deeper in the chess game.

He's a total heel to me after the audience sees how he acted in S2 E10 with regards to their mother dying and not telling Jimmy her last words. I'm getting to the point where the guy could go into a coma and I wouldn't care.

Chuck is one of my favorite characters. I dislike Jimmy. He's a manipulative lying twat. But love Mike.

Chuck is not likable, but he is a great character. This show is filled with characters like that, people who you'd hate in real life but are great to watch in a TV series. That is a mark of great writing.

The only thing I want to know about Chuck is how he got his crazy electrical allergy. I know it's some kind of mental illness but what triggered it? How did he get so crazy? Did Rebecca leave him because of his electrical allergy?

That's how Breaking Bad was for me too... I found myself not routing for any character because they were all so unlikable (except Saul and Gus, honestly). With BCS I route for Saul, Kim and Mike but that's it. It really is great writing to have such engaging shows with such unlikable characters.

I know in real life, I would probably feel bad for a guy like Chuck and probably not care for Jimmy. With the show, even though Jimmy does some underhanded things, there's a vulnerability to him and most of the time his heart is in the right place. The things Chuck does just seem to be vindictive toward Jimmy because he's jealous of him which is why he is not a sympathetic character to me.
