The episode numbering for Paw Patrol is getting increasingly confusing, messy and further from reality.
This is due to a couple of moderators sometimes enforcing a policy of "Episodes must be numbered in Aired order" and sometimes not. Despite the fact that the company who make them and the company that shows them order things in a very specific way. For instance EVERY OTHER website including the production company and the broadcasters list "Liberty Makes a new friend" as the first episode of season 9 - whereas there seems to be an insistence that it is part of season 8 - this also happened with a few episodes of season 7 which now means that the episode numbering for Paw Patrol is shifting further and further away from the numbering and ordering of other website and broadcasters.
for example, if your TV guide tells you that today a TV channel will be showing "Season 8 Episode 43" I guarantee you that it won't be "Pups Save the Greenhouse"
This has been a recurring problem over a few kids TV shows and it seems that when anyone flags it up it just gets ignored or talked to in a demeaning way or tickets are just left open and ignored.
This website is is an amazing resource and most of it is moderated amazingly well, but it does seem there are a couple of moderators of kids shows that have had power go to their heads.

I hope, they will fix it. I use Jellyfin and I hope to get the right order soon!

As per our rules, the episodes should be listed in airing order in the main episodes list. If you want them in another order, you should use an episode group.

I've complained about this site's solid stance on air date order for other shows and don't expect it to change even though there seem to be more people vocal against requiring episode airdates to be the default order. It seems to do far more harm than good and it presents continuity errors in other shows (The Transformers, Firefly, etc.). However, that also means that some episodes that have aired in Canada (and other countries) aren't even listed here. For example, the season 9 episode "Charger Visits the Pups" and "Pups Save a Shiny Ride" aired in April 2023 in Canada and have no scheduled date in the US yet. If the Canadian airdate was observed, many of the issues would be solved for this show. ...and "use an episode group" isn't a great response since apps like Infuse and Jellyfin can't do that...so episodes are all messed up.
