The original broadcaster of this series is Nickelodeon. Consequently, all the dates listed here should be the Nickelodeon broadcast dates.
As indicated in this previous content report, even if the episode "Son of Stimpy" was broadcasted on MTV on January 13th, 1993, it has only been broadcasted on Nickelodeon on December 11, 1993 during the course of the 3rd season.

Hello is "Original Broadcaster" part of TMDB guidelines or rules? It seems like the "original air date" is what prioritized across the site. If so, the original airdate on MTV of January 14 (not 13), 1993 should be prioritized over the edited / censored Nick premiere on 12/11/93.
I know production order holds no sway here, but I think folks keep reporting this as it was 100% produced as part of season 2 and is included as part of season 2 everywhere else -- DVDs, streaming, other online databases.
Just something to consider. I wonder if this idea of "original broadcaster" is applied uniformly across the site. If a show debuted on a sister network a month earlier is the later date always used without fail on every show?
Lastly I did notice that "Son of Stimpy" is also included in the "specials" or "season 0" section as well. Is that the listing for the MTV date??

Yes the "Original Broadcast" is part of the guidelines, which is why I was complaining. The guidelines ask for the original premiere date of any movie or TV show, everything was in order until a couple months ago.

Yeah someone must've done a number on this show recently. Almost all of the episode images are incorrect as well. I just made may way through season 2 and will pick up again where I left off soon. If I can be trusted with the ability to move images to their correct episode, I'd be happy to help that way vs. reporting and then uploading a correct image. I just got into Infuse and am a big R & S fan. The fact that my favorite show is littered with incorrect info on here motivated me to start an account and help fix it all.
But yes what the mod described in September as the "original broadcaster" (or channel) the show originally aired on seems irrelevant to the guidelines which as you state clear emphasize the original air date above all else. And again, because this episode is so clearly a part of production season 2 in its style, quality, etc, it makes its incorrect placement in season 3 particularly noticeable. The original airing on MTV is used literally everyone else too.

The rule is here. I quote : "We currently only support the original air dates on the original network."
The original network is determined at the start of the series and is only changed for later seasons if it doesn't anymore broadcast the series.
If you want it as part of the 2nd season, you can create an episode group.
The images were uploaded by a Latin America user that didn't list the translated episodes titles in correct order. I'm currently fixing them.

Right on. Sorry I missed that part. Thank you for hyperlinking.
Looking into TMDB episode groups on Infuse, seems like support for alternative episode order will (finally) be added sometime next year... I obviously want Son of Stimpy in season 2, but can appreciate the rules when they're consistent. The rules and the facts will also put "Big House Blues" into season 1.
And yes, thanks for fixing those episodes images as well! I'll continue on Season 3 and more soon. Cheers.
