The final confrontation between Mr. Kaplan and Reddington.
Questions:
Who will live and who will die? Dembe, Mr. Kaplan, Reddington, anyone else?
Where is Katarina Rostova?
Who is Elizabeth Keen's biological father? Does it still matter?
Is this the beginning of the end for the TV show "The Blacklist"? And will it be replaced by the spinoff "The Blacklist: Redemption"?
Whose side are you on: Reddington or Mr. Kaplan ?

I'm not on anyone's side, I just would prefer they make up and become partners again. That would be the logical writting choice I suppose. But if one dies, they die. shrugs it would be in line with their character no? Katarina should be dead. There's been no indication she's alive. We all saw her ...I guess walk into the sea. I guess.....Keen's father is Red or the Russian guy, and no, doesn't matter. They both banged the same woman and if the DNA test was false, then whatever.
I like and enjoy both shows. But the end has to come sooner or later. If it's renewed then great, if it ends, then I had a great ride.

I really, REALLY thought Dembe had been the one to poison Red, so I'm glad I was proven wrong, and I suppose I truly should have known better because of how loyal Dembe is, but I thought he was connected with Kaplan as well, so I thought when Red tried to kill her, that his loyalties were torn.
I have chosen a side, and while I do love Red, my side is with Kaplan. I think it's because I understand her better. I'm not sure I agree with some of her choices (but then, I don't always agree with Red's choices either), but I am on her side. Last night's episodes were EXCELLENT. I really enjoyed her back story. The writers did a really good job.
As to whether or not it matters at this point on who is Liz's father? No, I don't feel it matters. At the same time, I don't believe Red is her father. And that means that since we know the other guy was not her father (it was stated in a previous episode), that means Katarina was with someone else. And due to her assignments, it could be anyone. Hence why it really doesn't matter.
Red has definitely underestimated her. She is every bit as dangerous as he is. In fact, she might be more dangerous. In some ways, she and Red are Liz's surrogate parents. And while Red is protective of her and because of his background makes him someone you don't want to mess with when it comes to her, Mr. Kaplan (Kate) is the more dangerous of the two. Nothing is more dangerous than a protective/threatened mother. And while Katarina may have been Liz's biological mother, Kate was the one who truly took care of her and was and is Liz's true mother. Red needs to watch his step because she's out for him and I'm not sure even with the FBI's assistance they'll be able to stop her. What Red gets of loyalty from people out of fear, Kate gets out of respect. Which means that when push comes to shove, almost all the people who were loyal to him, very well may change loyalty to her. Especially since most of them have likely wanted to take Red down anyway so now's their chance.
These next few weeks will be very interesting and I am looking forward to every moment!
Oh, and the music chosen for these episodes were great. Two of my favorite songs.
