I sometimes just shake my head watching Lizzie ignoring Red's advice time after time. Sometimes things work out anyway, but frequently when she stubbornly ignores his advice she creates much bigger problems, placing herself in grave danger. Then Red has to place himself in danger to save her. The writers use that plot trope over and over again.
