Discuss The Originals

Can the Hollow even be killed? They seemed to have tried everything now. I was just waiting for her to possess Hope and surely enough, she did. So now she's a super witch, oh goodie!

Two episodes left, my guess is they exorcist that bitch out of Hope and then Hayley packs up and leaves town with her for good.

Well I know what I do not want to happen:

  1. NO, NO, NO Klaus & Caroline

  2. No extreme time jump

  3. No Davina (or Kol, unless it's to put him down for good)

I'm not a big Elijah fan (it's more to do with the actor, too wooden), but I believe that Haley & Elijah belong together. The whole 'oh no Elijah is a batterer' cr*p is a bunch of PC nonsense. Since Haley didn't exist in the timeline that showed her and Elijah fighting (it was in his head by the way, NOT REAL), how is having them together 'enabling abuse'?

I also wish that Plec would take a flying leap off a really high cliff.

Since Elijah is in France I think he would come back with a preference for Melville or Cocteau?

I agree about the whole Elijah is a batterer nonsense. The people saying that stuff don't think for themselves; they have cliche thought programs running through their minds. Where have they been? Elijah has been actually killing people throughout the whole series and now they are upset because in that dream like state when his mind was unhinged, lost in ancient memories he grabbed Haley by the neck? LOL. In his real life interactions with Haley he has been the perfect gentleman as well as her protector. But some people cannot pass up an opportunity to display PC judgmentalism. This culture of outrage in which young people try to one up each other in being offended & judging others is really bizarre and out of hand.

Watching the season finale I got the sense that the writers were not sure if there would be another season and they wanted to leave things somewhat settled. I thought they had Klaus give Kol a pass on his betrayal because of this. In case this was the end of the show they wanted the last impression of Klaus to be less angry and less vengeful. But with season five now in the works (or so I read) I wonder if Kol might yet get daggered again. He did facilitate Hope's possession by The Hollow after all. Klaus ought to have a hard time forgiving that.

I hope they have a little less magic, a little less witchiness next season. I don't like having invisible evil forces as the villains.

It will return in 2018 with only (probably) 13 episodes, I was hoping for at least 20 since it is more and likely the last season. See link below & scroll down to the comments.
